"Not listed" means we did not find it in MacroFactor's features, knowledge base or store descriptions on the date checked. MacroFactor says it does not show warnings or red numbers when you go over your targets, and it has no ads. Check MacroFactor's site for its current features and pricing.
Good to know. Apex Stacked is built around strength training first, with nutrition next to it. If adaptive macro coaching is the main thing you want, MacroFactor is the specialist. Apex Stacked is also dark theme only.
Your food history won't come with you, but your training history might.
It depends on what you want most. If you want an app that estimates your energy expenditure from your intake and weight and adjusts your macros every week, MacroFactor is built for that and Apex Stacked is not. If you want lifting, food, sleep, bloodwork and any TRT, peptide or supplement protocol in one app, with a free plan, Apex Stacked may fit better.
No. Apex Stacked starts your targets from a Mifflin-St Jeor estimate based on your profile, and you can edit every value. When your weight or activity no longer matches your targets, it shows a banner and previews new numbers, and nothing changes until you confirm. MacroFactor says it finds your expenditure from your intake and weight changes and adjusts your macro plan every week.
No. MacroFactor's FAQ says there is no free version, and it offers a 7-day free trial. Apex Stacked has a free plan with no time limit that covers workout logging, food tracking with barcode scanning, sleep and bloodwork entered by hand.
MacroFactor lists $11.99 a month, $47.99 every 6 months or $71.99 a year, and its separate MacroFactor Workouts app costs the same, or $89.99 a year for both. Apex Pro is $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year and covers training plans and food in one app, and Apex Pro + AI is $8.99 a month with a 7-day free trial. The plans include different features, so compare what you need. Prices are US prices as listed on October 18, 2026 and can vary by region.
Not your food log. Apex Stacked has no food diary import, so plan to start your food log fresh. MacroFactor has a data export, so you can keep a copy. For workouts, Apex Stacked's Import Workout reads general CSV files and matches columns by name, but we have not checked whether MacroFactor Workouts exports your history in a file it can read.
