Fitness competitions
Short fitness challenges with your friends. Everyone earns points for showing up, not for lifting the most or weighing the least. 3 or 7 days, friends only, and free on every plan.
iPhone, Apple Watch and Android.

Friends & Competitions is off until you turn it on. Nothing is shared before you finish these steps.
Open the Compete tab, sign in with Apple on iPhone or Google on Android, and accept a short disclosure of what will be shared.
3 to 20 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores, with a live availability check. Your real name is never required.
Add friends by handle and they get a request to accept. Friends who don't have the app yet get an invite with the download link and your handle.
Name it, choose what it tracks, pick 3 or 7 days, and start today, tomorrow or the day after. You can start solo and invite friends later.
Log in the app as you normally would. Points are counted on your phone and only the totals are sent.
Results finalize 12 hours after the last day, so everyone's final points have time to sync.
A new competition tracks workouts. You can add up to four more items. Each item earns one point per day, so a competition tracking three items is worth up to three points a day.
A workout of 30 minutes or more logged in Apex Stacked earns the day. Imported workouts don't count. On up to 2 rest days per 7 days, a recovery of 15 minutes or more counts instead.
Your day finishes within 10% of your own calorie and protein goals. No goals set, no food point.
You hit your own water goal for the day.
Logging your sleep earns the point. Just the log, never a measurement.
A mood and energy check-in earns the point. It is never bodyweight or any body measurement.
Ties go to whoever completed the most full days. If it's still an exact tie, you share the same rank.
No judging. Every goal is your own. Nobody is scored on how much they lift, what they eat, or how big they are. Days roll over in your own local time zone.
Your workouts, food, sleep and other logs stay on your device. Competitions only need totals.
Your handle and display name, your sign-in identifier, your friends and blocks, your competition memberships, and for each competition only your points, your count of fully completed days and small sync details. Reports you file are kept anonymized for up to 180 days for moderation.
Your numbers are visible only to friends you accept, and only inside competitions you both join. People you invite see a preview, not the other members or their scores, until they join.
Block or report anyone from your friends list or a competition. Blocking hides your identities from each other in any shared competition.
Turn off Friends & Competitions to stop sharing and leave active competitions while keeping your handle and friends. Deleting your account removes your handle and friends, and past results show you as "Former member".

A good fit if you and a few friends want a light nudge to train, eat to your goals or log sleep every day, and you'd rather compete on showing up than on numbers.
Maybe not if you want public leaderboards, large group challenges, prizes or long month-long events. Competitions here are friends only and run 3 or 7 days. Compete also needs Sign in with Apple or Google, so it hides itself on a device where that sign-in isn't available.
You start a competition, pick what it tracks (workouts by default, plus food, water, sleep or check-ins if you like), choose 3 or 7 days, and invite friends by handle. Each tracked item earns one point per day you complete it, and the highest total wins. Ties go to whoever completed the most full days.
3 days or 7 days. You can start it today, tomorrow or the day after, and results finalize 12 hours after the last day so everyone's final points have time to sync.
No. Standings are only visible to friends you accept, and only inside competitions you both join. There are no prizes, no wagering and no chat.
Your handle, the display name you choose, your points and how many days you fully completed. Your workouts, food, sleep and other logs stay on your phone. The server stores only those aggregate numbers for each competition.
No. Friends and competitions are free on every plan, on iPhone and Android. You never need a subscription to create or join one.
Yes. The Apple Watch app shows your running competition: which day it is, your points, your rank and whether you are leading. Competitions are created and joined on your phone.
