Challenge Rules

Apex New Year Challenge 2027 — Official Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
1. Sponsor
The Apex New Year Challenge 2027 (the "Challenge") is sponsored by Apex Stacked LLC, Portland, Oregon, USA, hello@apexstacked.com ("Sponsor", "we").
2. Apple and Google
Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this promotion. Google LLC is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this promotion.
Send any questions, comments or complaints about the Challenge to the Sponsor, not to Apple or Google.
3. No purchase necessary
No purchase necessary. The Challenge is free on every plan. A purchase does not improve your chances or your results.
4. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to take part. One account per person: if you take part with more than one account, every one of those accounts is disqualified. The Challenge is open wherever the Apex Stacked app is available, and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Sponsor's employees and their immediate family members are not eligible.
5. Challenge period
The Challenge runs from 12:00 a.m. on January 1, 2027 to 11:59 p.m. on January 31, 2027, in each participant's local time (the "Challenge Period").
6. How to join
Join from the Challenge screen in the Apex Stacked app. Joining requires signing in (Sign in with Apple on iPhone, Google on Android).
Days count from the day you join. Join by January 1 to be able to reach all 31 days. Workouts logged before you join do not count.
7. Qualifying days
A calendar day in the Challenge Period is a "qualifying day" when it has at least one workout that lasts at least 15 minutes, or has at least 6 completed working sets (warm-up sets do not count), logged live in the Apex Stacked app, with its start and finish on that same calendar day. Calendar days use your local time, based on the time zone your device reports when the workout is logged.
- Imported workouts (from Apple Health, Health Connect, other apps or files) never qualify.
- Each calendar day can count as at most one qualifying day, however many workouts you log.
- The Sponsor's servers decide which days qualify.
- Changing time zones or device clocks to create extra days is not allowed.
- Connecting Apple Health, Health Connect or a watch is optional and never required.
January workouts must sync to our servers by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on February 3, 2027.
8. Tiers and leaderboards
The Challenge has tiers at 12, 20 and 31 qualifying days. Leaderboards rank participants by qualifying days, with total completed working sets as the tiebreak. Leaderboard rank, the tiebreak and the 12- and 20-day tiers do not affect eligibility for the prize.
9. Fair play, review and disqualification
We run automated plausibility checks (for example, implausible sets per minute, future dates and edits made after a day ends) and accept reports from other participants. Every prize is manually reviewed before it is granted.
We may remove days from, or disqualify, anyone who cheats, tampers with the app or its data, uses more than one account, or breaks these rules or the Terms of Use. The Sponsor's decisions on qualifying days and eligibility are final.
10. Prize
Every eligible participant who reaches 31 qualifying days and passes review receives three months of Apex Pro (the Apex Pro tier, not Apex Pro + AI and not the Apex AI add-on). There is no limit on the number of prizes.
Approximate retail value: US$8.97 (three months at Apex Pro's US price of $2.99 a month). Prices in other countries vary.
The prize has no cash value and is not transferable. No substitution is allowed, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
11. How and when the prize is granted
Prizes are granted by February 28, 2027, after review, as promotional access added to the account that completed the Challenge, with a notice in the app.
The prize lasts three months from the day it is granted. It does not renew automatically, needs no payment method and is never charged. If you already subscribe, it runs alongside your subscription and does not pause, extend or refund it. If you delete your account before the prize is granted, the prize is forfeited.
12. Privacy
Participation data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Your username, display name and Challenge totals may appear on leaderboards to other participants.
13. Relationship to the Terms of Use
These Official Rules apply in addition to the Terms of Use. If they conflict, these Official Rules govern the Challenge.
14. General
The Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify the Challenge if fraud, technical failure or other causes beyond its control impair it, with notice on this page. To the extent permitted by law, participants release the Sponsor from liability arising from participation in the Challenge or from the prize.
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
